We are an organization that empowers young adults and kids to take charge of what is going on in our atmosphere involving global warming. You know how adults are saying that kids are the world's future leaders? Well, why can't kids be leaders and influence not only the future, but the present too? That's why we created this organization- for kids to finally take action and responsibility for helping this planet.

Kicking Global Warming in the Butt!!

We have designed and made samples of our t-shirts! On January 21 we finished our art work and created the screen for our t's. Today I went to Richmond and made about five sample shirts in a variety of colors. We will be putting them up for sale shortly.

The Start of Beat the Heat

Hello, everyone. This is the first post of our orgnization Beat the Heat. I have created this blog to share with the world how we have started and the steps we have been taking to get farther along.
Beat the Heat started with Ali's idea to make an organization starting with a chapter in Mill Valley stretching out to the bay area. We then started to work together and worked off of Ali's original idea. Together we want to create a wider awarness on Global Warming and try to get people to cut down on their CO2 admission. So far we have planned out a schedule of goals and have started creating a website and putting our plan into action. Together we can beat the heat and we will!
